Influence of the rear part of the car body on aerodynamic interaction of vehicles
Vondruš, Jan ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on CFD simulation of two platooning DrivAer cars with varying bodyworks. CFD models are made for bodywork variants Estateback, Fastback and Notchback, which are solved by k-epsilon turbulent model. Influence of rear body design on platooning and aerodynamics characteristics is analyzed.
Web applications supporting education of audio signal processing
Malcher, Tomáš ; Mokrý, Ondřej (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelors thesis deals with a creation of web applications using JavaScript language. These web applications should be helpful in signal processing classes by showing and explaining different phenomenons to students. Students can see how different parameters affect the outcome of said issue. The theory needed for understanding and implementation is covered by this thesis. Thesis covers key parts of the code of said web applications and the libraries used for their implementaition.
Software for simulation of acoustic pressure distribution
Hampl, Filip ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Kurc, David (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with the creation of software to simulate the distribution of sound pressure. Basic principles of sound propagation are explained which are necessary for an understanding of the issue. There is a description of the velocity potential and its application in creating simulations. Another issue is the introduction of wavefield synthesis, which is essentially a technology for simulation of primary sources with secondary sources. Advantages of wavefiled synthesis are discussed as well as disadvantageous aspects. The practical part of this work is creating a user interface in Matlab, which allows user to plot the distribution of sound pressure of one or interaction of more emitters. Another possible outcome is to display the directional characteristics of real resources. At the very end of the work the direction of further work is outlined.
Google Wave Technology
Michlík, Pavel ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Poliščuk, Radek (advisor)
The Master’s thesis explains API and features of Google Wave technology, which was designed for flexible real-time collaboration of defined participants. The project aim was description of Google Wave basic elements and creation of sample Wave extensions, demonstrating capabilities of the communication protocol. The first extension (robot) was developed using client libraries in Java. The second extension (gadget) shows another approach of Google Wave extensions, based on XML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The Swimming cetrum Brno Zidenice
Pleva, František ; ing.arch. Lukáš Ležatka, Ph.D (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The main theme of this project is a concept of the Swimming centrer in Brno—Židenice. The plot in question is extremely complex. It is located on the edge of a hillside near the Health center at Viniční, which naturally dominates the area by the shape and size of its structure. The underlying idea was to use orthogonal shapes to create a building, that would not compete with the Health center but would add up to its surroundings instead. Every single part of the project was designed to delicately fit into given terrain and surroundings. Most of the functions of the building are set on the 1st floor (e.g. locker rooms, two bars, water world and wellness). The 1st underground floor features technical services rooms. On the 2nd floor, there is only a swimming pool and a terrace with whirlpools on one part of the roof. The roof top offers an excellent view on the city of Brno. South and west facades of the pool hall are made completely out of glass. It is covered by vertical curved aluminum lamellar system. That is because of the thermal technical requirements of the building, however, it is also a dynamic piece of the facade that adds up to aesthetic finish of the building. The construction is based on a combined system of monolithic reinforced concrete columns and walls and glue laminated timber beams and frames. The roofs are compact and green. In the part above the locker rooms is intense green roof planted intensively green fully-grown greenery.
High precision differential thermometer
Sieklik, Ivan ; Wilfert, Otakar (referee) ; Barcík, Peter (advisor)
This work describes the principles of measurements of refractive-index structural parameter. This parameter represent intensity of atmospheric turbulence which is measured by a differential temperature meter. Basic properties of atmospheric transmission environment are specified and their influence on optical wave is stated. Furthermore, this thesis also describes fundamental types of sensors dedicated to temperature measurements. The aim of this work was to create a differential temperature meter which is able to measure the refractive-index structural parameter.
Measurement and evaluation of wave events at Hulín lake
Skřečková, Kateřina ; Pelikán,, Petr (referee) ; Špano, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to process data on wave event measurement on hulín lagoon and their evaluation. The data is processed in the MATLAB environment, thanks to which basic parameters such as wave heights and lengths, period and spectrum shape can be evaluated.
Suppression of powerline interference in ECG signals
Lacko, Michal ; Hrubeš, Jan (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
This project includes survey of various methods ECG signal filtering, to suppress of powerline interference. It is specialized especially on properties which affecting the quality of filtration. The main essence of project is evaluation of the proposed methods in terms of quality and the least possible distortion of the resulting ECG signal. The work is focused on linear, adaptive filtering and filtering using discrete wavelet trans-form. Signal processing and evaluation of descriptive parameters are transferred using the graphical interface GUI in the program Matlab 7.7.0 ( R2008b ).
Sound emission directivity model
Zdvyhal, Marian ; Hájek, Roman (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis solves creation of a computing model of sound propagation for determination of acoustic pressure level around multiple point sound source with consideration of sound directivity of each source (compresor and fan). Thesis contains neccesary theoretical knowledge for creation of computing model and basics of sound measuring, theoretical computing model, measurement data of real unit and model configuration for real measured values. Computing code of the model in Visual Basic for MS Excel is a part of the thesis.
Digital Audio Steganography
Morávek, Jan ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
Nowadays much more information is transfered and saved in electronic files. The digitalization allows easier access to information, not only for the user, but also for a possible attacker. This fact leads to progress in information security area. Besides cryptography, this also includes steganography. This thesis is focused on steganography in general and describes digital audio steganography in detail. Implementation and evaluation of several methods are also parts of this thesis.
